The Hohenaschau district is close to the centre of Aschau im Chiemgau. The tourist resort is overlooked by the 1669-metre-high Kampenwand (Chiemgau Alps) and the 12th-century Hohenaschau Castle in the middle of the Priental valley. Restaurants, supermarkets and other shops are just a few steps away. The wonderful location at the foot of the Alps between Munich and Salzburg offers a wide range of leisure activities, both in winter and summer: skiing, hiking, sailing, cycling, golf and much more.
